Fall 2024 Accounting Firms meet Students

Networking Open House was held on November 4 and 6.

The Networking Open House is the newest event from the Accountancy Department to create an opportunity for all students of the College of Business. It targets mostly freshmen and sophomores who may be unaware of their possible Accounting Industry opportunities and get their feet wet in a networking event. At the event's grand opening, Orange County Auditors, RKE, and PDM visited the COB Front Lawn and Atrium. They interacted with curious students who stopped by to learn more from the government and public firms! Furthermore, a professor passing by helped promote the event to their students and hoped to see the event again for future semesters! We hope this event will continue and gain further traction as numerous students who aren't just in Accounting can benefit!
