Senior Data Strategy Analyst @ Neustar Inc. - A TransUnion Company

My journey at CSULB was quite exciting and memorable both personally and professionally. Back in India, I was working as an Oracle Applications Technical Consultant at IBM. Having an experience of 7+ years I was exploring options where the programs offered a blend of management and data analytics courses covering the latest technologies. That’s when I came across the MSIS program at CSULB and as an international student, it checked all the required boxes for me. The program is carefully designed to challenge analytical and problem-solving skills. Although we had online classes for three semesters, professors took the initiative to make it interactive by creating breakout rooms and assigning group tasks. We were exposed to practical use cases and real-life scenarios through projects and I think it really added value to my skills, learning, and resume. Upon graduating, I received a full-time offer from Neustar Inc., a Trans Union Company as a Senior Data Strategy Analyst. The program courses like Statistics, Python Programming, DBMS, Management Information Systems, SQL, Data Mining & Modeling in ML, and certifications like AWS for Machine Learning and Tableau helped me get this job. And, I am glad that I can apply the knowledge gained in my daily job duties. Most importantly, I am proud to be a Beach Alumni and highly recommend and encourage the MSIS program at CSULB.
