Sarah Paraico, Accelerated MBA – Data Subject Matter Expert, United Health Group
I received my MBA from CSULB in 2015. The Accelerated MBA program (AMBA) has opened many doors for me in my career. After completing my MBA, I secured a position in healthcare quality, where I found myself directly drawing on critical thinking skills learned in the MBA program. Healthcare quality professionals analyze large sets of data to make informed decisions and I was able to apply what I learned in various AMBA courses to keep up with the herd.
Since graduating from the AMBA program, I have gained the confidence to seek out fulfilling career opportunities. My work history now includes organizations, such as Molina Healthcare and United Health Group that prioritize quality patient care. The AMBA program gave me the business acumen to make meaningful discoveries through data analysis. My work enables me, my colleagues, and senior leadership to make informed decisions positively affecting patient care. I am grateful to the AMBA program for its positive impact in my career, and for the lifelong friendships I made through the program.
