Eric Reyes Loo is a Los Angeles-based television writer/producer and playwright, who has staffed on both comedy and drama series. He has also developed film and TV projects with networks, studios, and production companies.

Eric has taught screenwriting, TV writing and playwriting at various universities including San Diego State University, Loyola Marymount University and Santa Clara University.
Eric started his career as a staff writer on the AwesomenessTV/Hulu drama series Guidance, where he wrote three episodes his first year on the show, including the two-part season finale. That lead to him being promoted to Co-Producer the following year. He also was an Executive Story Editor on the Netflix one-hour comedy, A.J. and the Queen, starring RuPaul and co-created by Michael Patrick King.
Eric recently pitched two new hour-long dramas to FX Networks as a part of the Film Independent Imaginar TV Incubator for Fearless Latinx Creators under the guidance of Kevin Wandell, SVP of Development and writer/producer Wendy Calhoun. Eric's also a proud member of the Writers Guild of America.
Eric's also a member of the local theatre company Chalk Repertory Theatre. His plays have been developed and produced at theatres in New York, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. His play, Death and Cockroaches, was produced at the Atwater Village Theatre. And his play about active shooter drills, This is Only a Test, was produced by Broken Nose Theatre in Chicago.
Eric's play, Simple Mexican Pleasures, will have its premiere at San Francisco's New Conservatory Theatre Center in April 2025.
Eric is currently developing a half-hour series with RaqMar Entertainment (producers of Acapulco on Apple TV+).
