I believe that you get what you put in. I wasn’t involved on campus during my first semester and I was just a commuter student. As a result, my experience was not great for my first semester. I decided that I wanted to develop my overall professionalism so I immersed myself into organizations on campus such as Alpha Kappa Psi, FMA, and SCPD. I gained not only essential business skills but friends for a lifetime along the way. Since then, my experience has been quite memorable and I would be glad when looking back at my time at CSULB one day.
I graduated from La Quinta High School in 2015. After that, I received my Associates Degree from Orange Coast College as a full time student while working at T-Mobile as a Retail Sales Associate.
I am an incoming Finance intern at Boeing in the Commercial Jets Headquarters in Seattle, Washington. I’m planning to work hard to earn a full time position in their two-year Leadership Business Career Foundation Program. Possibly going back to school to obtain my M.B.A and higher education if there is an opportunity with a company that assists with reimbursement. Aside from my professional goals, I wish to travel the world.
Networking is very important especially in today’s world. So I definitely want to stay involved with the myBeach program and Alumni because I want to stay in contact with CSULB and students in any way possible upon graduation.
