Bill Beverley ‘08

Co-Founder, Co-CEO & CTO of Evolectric Inc.  

Bill Beverley brings 15 years of experience in power distribution and specific expertise in vehicle electrification and batteries. Early in his career, Bill was technical project lead at Moog Aerospace serving aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus and Gulfstream. After moving into automotive, has held leadership positions at electric automotive startup OEMs such as Indi-EV, Romeo Power, Faraday Future. He holds five technology patents in the electric automotive technology space. Since Evolectric’s founding in 2019, Bill leads all technical programs and provides subject matter expertise across all facets of electric drive systems, including battery, powertrain, and electrical systems. Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. He is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and an active alumnus of the Delta Chi Fraternity. Bill and team are committed to growing CSULB in becoming an electrification powerhouse by working closely with the College of Engineering as an industry partner for their recent 2022 California Energy Commission Grant Award in Zero Emissions Vehicle workforce training.
