Kim Leal is the Training Director for Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group, a nationwide healthcare staffing organization. She has spent her 16-year career in the field of learning and development, creating systems and processes that help companies retain and grow good talent. She works with subject matter experts to develop strategies for creating and sharing knowledge where it is needed most, including new hire orientations, systems training, and soft skills. From 2013 to 2019, Kim orchestrated an annual business owner symposium that helped local small business owners plan for their futures and stay educated about changing regulations. She has a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University, and loves to knit in her spare time.
