From CSULB to the Education Industry

Originally from Chicago, IL, Maq moved to Long Beach, CA to finish high school and go to college near his family. After graduating from Long Beach Jordan High School among the top of his class with honors, Maq went on to Cal State Long Beach for his undergraduate studies, followed by his Single Subject Clear Teaching Credential in English and CLAD certification. Maq then went to Cal State Dominguez Hills to obtain his Masters in Education. In total, Maq has two Bachelor’s Degrees (in Liberal & Africana Studies), a teaching credential in English from CSULB, and a Master’s Degree in Multicultural Education from CSUDH.
