Juggling housing, recreation, business and education in a balancing act that spans 10,000 acres is just the latest in land use development challenges accepted by Oliver Cagle. The building industry veteran is currently focusing his attention on a planned community in Hesperia that will double the size of that city.
The president of Rancho Los Flores Ltd. Partnerships is a San Clemente resident with his wife Jill Masteller Cagle and their son Nicholas, 16. In August 1988, and prior to forming the Dana Point-based Rancho Los Flores Ltd. Partnerships, he was head of development of Amerimar Realty Co.-West.
Before joining Amerimar, Cagle was president of Barratt Irvine, a division of Irvine-based Barratt American Inc. Prior to joining Barratt in 1984 as vice president/general manager of the Creekside project, he was senior director and general manager fir Campeau Corp. of California, a subsidiary of Campeau Corp. of Canada and one of the top five real estate development firms on North America.
