Chemistry (CHEM) - S/I Leaders

Jasmine is a Biochemistry major from Long Beach, CA. She became an SI Leader knowing how challenging chemistry can be and wants to share how to develop study plans for challenging subjects. Jasmine's goal is to become a pediatrician and help her community grow. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and taking nature breaks.

Kelly is a Biology Major with a minor in Chemistry from Huntington Beach, CA. As an SI leader, she empathizes with academic challenges, drawing from her own experiences. Kelly is dedicated to helping others grasp subjects and develop lifelong study skills. Beyond academics, she delves into organic chemistry lab research in her free time and volunteers at CHOC. 

Mikoto is a second-year pre-nursing student from Irvine, CA. She became an SI Leader because she had such a positive experience in her SI class, and she wanted to help her fellow nursing students succeed! Her ultimate goal is to become a registered nurse, but she is still figuring out what department she wants to specialize in. In her spare time, she likes playing soccer, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. 

Lingli is a pre-nursing major from San Francisco, CA. She became an SI leader because of her passion for helping others thrive in challenging courses. Lingli is working diligently towards her career goal of becoming an ICU nurse. In her free time, she looks for new food spots, goes out in the desert, takes walks, or plays video games. 

Riana is a Pre-Nursing major from Aliso Viejo, CA. As an SI Leader, she hopes to provide motivation and guidance for success to her students. Her ultimate goal is to get into the nursing program at CSULB and eventually become a family nurse practitioner. Some of her hobbies include reading manga, collecting Smiskis and Sonny Angels, finding and listening to new music, and spending time with people she loves. 

Adelle is a Pre-Nursing major who in the future, hopes to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She experienced how SI allows students to grow more confident in their knowledge and skills and is excited to help students reach their full potential in chemistry! 

Briana is a 2nd year Pre-Nursing student from Stockton, CA. She became an SI Leader to help fellow pre-nursing students in their journey. Briana knows how difficult chemistry can be, and she wants to see everyone succeed. Ultimately, she hopes to become a neonatal nurse practitioner. In her spare time, Briana serves as the secretary for CSULB's Pilipino American Coalition, and also may be found crocheting or watching true crime videos on YouTube

Ryan is a Nutrition and Dietetics major here at CSULB who hopes to earn a MS in Nutrition and Dietetics after undergrad and become a licensed dietitian. She became an SI Leader to help students gain confidence in their academic knowledge and aid students in becoming effective learners. Ryan enjoys going to the beach, Disneyland trips, and long cafe days.
