I had an amazing experience at California State University Long Beach. It was a great opportunity for me to grow and meet new people, expanding my horizons and figuring out who I am as a person. I participated in on-campus activities, hung out with friends in front of the business building or at the student union, and even tried out bowling and pool. I wasn't in a sorority, but I loved being able to meet new people from different backgrounds and experiences. I didn't play sports or do internships, but I did work part-time in banking and eventually transitioned to working at American Honda and then Raytheon in finance. Looking back, I am grateful for the chance to get a college education and develop important people skills through face-to-face interactions on campus. I was a commuter student, so I didn't have a lot of time for campus activities, but I made the most of my days on campus and cherished the experiences I had.
