Max Nguyen '17

My experience at California State University Long Beach was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and I felt like I belonged there. I was able to open up and be myself, make great friends, and participate in activities I never thought I would have. I joined clubs, took social dancing classes, and just had a great time. The people at Long Beach were always so chill and the lifestyle was great. My time at Long Beach also helped me with my career after I graduated. The professors gave me real life experience and knowledge of what to do when I graduated. They also helped me open my mind and do research to find what I needed to succeed in my career. Cybersecurity is a big part of my career and I was able to learn a lot from the professors and speakers who came in to talk about their experience in the field. I also gained more confidence and learned to take chances. I'm so glad I went to Long Beach and I miss it every day.
