My time at California State University Long Beach was really memorable. The atmosphere was great - academic yet casual. My mathematics education prepared me well for my career as a high school math teacher. I had a great math professor, Dr. Beckwith, who was very helpful and an excellent teacher. The courses I took for my Masters degree in Education allowed me to apply my learning specifically to the work I was doing with my high school students. CSULB was a good fit for me and I was proud to be a 49er.
