I remember my first day walking onto the campus of Long Beach State. I was both excited and anxious about the challenge ahead of me. During my time there, I learned the importance of taking care of myself and working hard. I had a strong support system of professors and faculty members who played a big part in my education. One class in particular, Econ 3, was very memorable and I was surprised to hear that it had been dropped as a requirement. Graduation day was a great day of celebration with my parents, girlfriend, and eventually my wife in attendance. It was a rite of passage and I learned that having a piece of paper helps get you in the door, but it's up to you to use it to advance your career.
