INFORMATION
WARNING: Understanding basic mathematics is necessary to get a Bachelor's Degree in any major.  In addition, most science classes cannot be adequately understood without the proper background in mathematics.

One of the biggest mistakes many college students make is to put off completing their math requirements.  First, that causes them to not do as well as they could in other classes.  Second, the longer they wait, the more they will have forgotten material from their earlier math classes, and in most cases putting off math only makes their math fears increase!

ADVICE
Begin taking math classes early in your college career and begin in a course in which you will do well  (even if it means having to retake something you may have had in high school).  Take placement exams as soon as possible.
