Staff Council Elections
During this Staff Council meeting, Representatives may express their interest in becoming officers of the Executive Committee and/or Chairs of our subcommittees. Voting will take place at the meeting to decide the rosters.
Each May, Staff Council members vote to elect new Representatives to serve on the Executive Committee and to Chair our Special Events, Staff Development, Ways and Means, Membership, Nominating, and Bylaws committees.
Voting will take place during the May 10, 2024 Staff Council meeting.
If you are interested in serving as an officer in any capacity, please submit your nomination by providing a brief statement (not to exceed 200 words) that describes your interest, experience, and qualifications on a PowerPoint slide by the Wednesday prior to the May meeting to staff-council@csulb.edu. Your slide may also include your photo.
The newly elected officials will begin their terms on June 1 and preside at the June Staff Council meeting.
