NCSEC Continues International Collaboration

The National Center for Science in Early Childhood (NCSEC), led by Dr. Bill Straits, continues its collaboration with Venus Kindergarten in Beijing China, working with 24 teacher-leaders at Venus's Zhujiang (Pearl River) campus in 2023.

This professional learning program helps teachers better understand how promoting a child's sense of wonder, along with developing fundamental science investigation skills, are goals for early childhood science.

The National Center for Science in Early Childhood (NCSEC) is devoted to creating and providing science resources and professional development to teachers of children ages 0-8 and their families.

We currently offer science professional development programs for toddler, pre-K, and Transitional Kindergarten teachers, as well as a pre-K/TK engineering program.
