Student Success Fund

It has always been a goal of the President's Ambassadors to enrich and support the student community on campus. Weather that be giving informational tours or assisting other organizations with their events, the Ambassadors are committed to positive and successful college experience.

In fall of 2006 they started the Student Success Fund in order to give back to a University that has given them so much, and what better way to give back than to ensure the success of fellow students? We believe that raising money and supporting students in need through the Student Success Fund is another way we can achieve this goal.

What is the Student Success Fund?

Most financial aid for students is based on predictability and forethought. When students run in to sudden financial difficulty there are no resources available to them.

Although students may work 1 or even 2 part time jobs they often do not have the means necessary to pay for these unforeseeable expenses, often putting their success as a college graduate in jeopardy.

The Student Success Fund was established by President Alexander and carried out by the President’s Ambassadors to fill in this gap in financial assistance. It is a fund for students, which is raised and disbursed by students, to help with these unpredictable and often costly circumstances, what ever they may be.

Current Status of the SSF

Currently the President's Ambassadors are working hard to raise sufficient funds to get the Student Success Fund Scholarship endowed to the point where they will be able to assist their fellow students. Once this process is complete students will be able to apply for funding on a semi- annual basis.
