Honoring Community Organizations and Their Campus Collaborations

The President's Commission on the Status of Women seeks to honor a community-based organization that has effectively collaborated with California State University Long Beach and has demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of women. Any member of the campus community and any community organization which partners with California State University, Long Beach may submit a nomination.

The selected organization and its campus partner(s) will be recognized at the Women's Research Colloquium on Tuesday, April 10, 2012.

Nominations are due March 4, 2013.

Nomination packets must include:

  1. A completed application form Adobe PDF file
  2. The organization's mission statement.
  3. A letter highlighting the organizations's activities, achievements and collaborative efforts relevant to the award (minimum 2 pages, maximum 5 pages).

All nomination materials must be submitted electronically to pcsw-awards@csulb.edu.

Confirmation of receipt will be provided within 2 business days. If application is not acknowledged as received, please contact Betsy Decyk at 562-985-2577.

Any member of the campus community and any community organization which partners with California State University, Long Beach may submit a nomination.
