The University Library is very excited to debut a new service for the information age! Online Reference help has arrived!
Debuting at the beginning of fall semester, 2011 and called "Got Questions, Get Answers," the new online reference service (Powered by Springshare's LibAnswers program) allows students, staff and faculty to ask reference and research questions via text messaging (SMS), via Twitter, or right on the Got Questions? Get Answers! website (http://csulb.libanswers.com/).
One of the most exciting aspects of the new service is that the technological infrastructure of the system is a living and breathing question and answer database that stores questions and their answers. This allows instant answers to pop up in real time when a question is asked that is already in the database.
The service is easy to find! Just look for the yellow post it on the Library's Webpage (http://www.csulb.edu/library/) that says "Got a Question?"
