Fifteen of those years were dedicated to academic pursuits… three majors and two credentials. And as director of the Isabel Patterson Child Development center for 20 years, I’ve had extraordinarily rewarding experiences with students and student parents.
I joined Women & Philanthropy because giving back feels good. I want to make a difference in students’ lives. Plus, the opportunity to work with dedicated and talented women.”

Membership
is open to all individuals who share a vision of advancing educational opportunities at California State University, Long Beach. The group meets approximately four times per year at various CSULB campus and community locations. We welcome your involvement in the very exciting job of preparing our future generation. You are invited to participate with your tax-deductible contribution. Donor recognitions may be customized to meet your needs and can include the permanent naming of a scholarship.
Individual Membership Levels:
Sapphire ($500): Attendance to all events
Ruby ($1,000): Attendance to all events including one guest + Women & Philanthropy T-Shirt
Emerald ($1,250): All of the above + two tickets to a campus event
Diamond ($2,500): All of the above + annual scholarship in your name
