Directions to The Beach


There are often construction projects taking place around campus. Any questions related to construction, call the OCTA Construction Helpline at (800) 724-0353.


From the 405 Fwy Southbound / LAX / L.B. Airport:

Exit at Bellflower Blvd.
Turn left from the off-ramp and then make an immediate right on Bellflower Blvd. Continue to State University Drive and turn left into campus.
(Note that the Visitor Information Center (VIC) is located on Beach Drive.)
Go to the third stop sign and turn left.

From 405 Fwy Northbound:

Exit at Bellflower Blvd.
Turn left from off-ramp on Bellflower Blvd.
Continue to Beach Drive and turn left onto campus.
The Visitor Information Center (VIC) will be on your right side after passing the first stop sign.

From 605 Fwy Southbound:

The 605 Fwy will end at the 405 Northbound.
Continue on to 405 Northbound.
Exit at Bellflower Blvd.
Turn left from off-ramp on Bellflower Blvd.
Continue to Beach Drive and turn left onto campus.
The Visitor Information Center (VIC) will be on your right side after passing the first stop sign.

From 22 Fwy West:

The 22 Fwy will merge into the 405 Northbound.
Exit at Bellflower Blvd.
Turn left from off-ramp on Bellflower Blvd.
Continue to Beach Drive and turn left onto campus.
The Visitor Information Center (VIC) will be on your right side after passing the first stop sign.

Parking On-campus

CSULB’s Parking and Transportation Services is committed to providing faculty, staff, students and the community with an array of high quality parking and access options. These services include employee and student parking permits, parking arrangements for official guests, parking meters for visitors, group access permits for special events, and attendant parking for patrons during large events. All guests to CSULB should visit the Visitor Information Center (VIC) to receive directions and on-campus parking instructions.
