Bbring the following items with you the day of the test:
The reporting time for the test will be printed on the Admission Ticket. You will not be admitted if you are late. The actual time of the test is 45 minutes. However, in order to be admitted, hear instructions, and complete additional paperwork, you should allow 30 minutes.
If you are a disabled student with a physical or learning disability, which requires special arrangements (such as wheelchair access, extended time, a reader, or a recorder), please contact the CSULB Office of Disabled Student Services at (562) 985-5401 for a referral form. By no later than the published deadline date, bring your signed referral form and test registration with you to Test Services to set up an individual, weekday appointment.
If you missed the deadline date, contact us at (562) 985-4007 two days before the test date for Standby Information. If there are spaces available you will be informed of the time and location where you need to report the day of the test. You will need the following items on the test date:
1. A check or money order for $10.00 (made payable to CSULB) will be required to take the test.
2. Identification should be a positive picture/signature identification, such as a Driver's License.
Based on your test score, you will be notified of your appropriate placement. Notification of appropriate course placement will be e-mailed to you. Do not phone the Chemistry/Biochemistry Department for results. For information regarding registration or score reporting, please contact Testing, Evaluation & Assessment at (562) 985-4007. Details will be announced on the day of the test. You must take responsibility for registering for the permitted lecture and lab on your assigned registration date(s).
If your score is below the cut off for entering Chemistry 111A, you will be notified to register for Chemistry 101 lecture-with-lab based on space availability.
