The UCUA provides general advising for new and continuing CSULB students.
The College of Business Administration maintains an Advising and Admissions center for undergraduate students. One of the major goals of the Center is to provide guidance to undergraduate students from the time they apply to the College until they successfully complete their major program of study.
The RRC serves as the first point of contact for prospective and/or returning engineering students by providing academic guidance beginning with the application process to full matriculation into the Engineering degree. It provides first and second semester advisement for first-time freshmen. Additionally, the center offers counseling services to students who are currently on academic probation.
The AARC offers information on student support services and provides academic advising for both general education and major requirements to matriculated undergraduate students in all of the CHHS disciplines
The ATLAS Network is a collaboration of advisors, professional staff, and faculty committed to the satisfaction and success of Liberal Arts majors at Cal State Long Beach. As the advising hub for the College of Liberal Arts, ATLAS partners with students and their major departments to best assist and support our undergraduates on the road to graduation.
The CNSM Academic Advising Center provides academic advising and support services to assist CNSM students in achieving their personal, academic, and career goals at California State University, Long Beach.

The LAC provides assistance to become a better a student through Learning Skills Specialists, assistance preparing for the Writing Proficiency Exam (WPE), individual and drop-in tutoring, and Supplemental Instruction (SI) programs.
There are a number of tutoring opportunities are available to CSULB students who seek to learn more about an educational subject or skill. Some areas offer free or low cost or tutoring on an individual and/or drop-in basis.
The WRL is CSULB's writing center. Its central mission is to provide ongoing writing instruction to any currently enrolled CSULB student via individualized tutorials. The WRL tutors help student writers improve their skills by teaching them strategies that take them through each stage of the writing process.
