Goal: Provide Opportunities and Resources to Help All New Students Connect to CSULB
An ASI Info Day kicks off Week of Welcome each year with an event that brings together each facet of the Associated Students, Inc. to inform students on the organization. The rest of the week is filled with Student Organization Fairs and more activities. Week of Welcome occurs in the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.
This event wraps up the fall semester Week of Welcome and features all-night free billiards, bowling, games, interactive activities, performances and more. More than 3,000 students attend annually.
Homecoming is an entire week of activities, in late fall, that brings together our students, alumni, faculty, staff and community friends.
The department of Club Sports and Recreation strives to improve the quality of campus life for CSULB members by providing a wide range of recreational and competitive clubs, fitness classes, educational programs and open recreation programs.
The Intramural Sports & Wellness program is designed to get students involved with campus athletic competition and fitness. Intramural Sports provides the opportunity to stay involved in an athletic setting and participate in non-credit fitness classes.
The official seat of student governance for the California State University, Long Beach campus. The Student Government division represents the student body, advocates their needs, and defends their interests in dealings with faculty, campus administrators and government officials.

STARS facilitates the transition and retention of our diverse student population by fostering their advancement towards graduation through our commitment to providing student-centered programming and services.
Beach Pride Programs houses the two programming arms of the Associated Students, Inc. and University Student Union who put on events, such as Earth Week, the Farmers’ Market, and special concerts. The USU Program Council holds events specifically for the USU, including Health Fair, Noontime Concerts and free movies in the Beach Auditorium.
