SOAR Advisors

What is a SOAR Advisor?

A SOAR Advisor is a current student – either undergraduate or graduate student – who assists new students in their academic and social transition to CSULB. SOAR Advisors welcome the newest members of the Forty-Niner Family by showing them around campus, introducing our history and traditions, discussing expectations, explaining what it takes to earn a degree, and promoting student success. They also assist new students with course selection and registration for their first semester courses.
