NCAA Division 1 Championships / Distinctions

  • Baseball (4 College World Series, 19 NCAAs), Women's Basketball (18 national tournaments), Men's Volleyball (1 NCAA title, 5 Final Fours), Women's Volleyball
    (5 national titles, 32 national tournaments), Men's Water Polo (11 NCAAs).

  • The Long Beach State Track and Field team had 17 athletes compete in the NCAA West Preliminaries with three advancing to the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Thirteen 49ers also had top three finishes at the Big West Conference championships to earn all-league honors in 2009-10.

  • In 2009-10, the 49ers captured conference titles in women's volleyball.
