From the beginning of a students' CSULB experience to graduation day and beyond, the programs and services we offer help our students achieve their educational goals. It begins with our admissions assistance, orientation programs, and our individual / group counseling and academic support services.
EOP is committed to helping students adjust to college life at CSULB. We offer EOP 100 Orientation to Campus Life (1 unit) for first time freshmen. In addition, we provide the following programs prior to the beginning of the fall semester:
EOP students are required to meet with their counselors every semester. The number of mandatory advising appointments per semester varies depending on the students' academic and class standing.
Throughout the academic-year EOP offers workshops and events that promote academic and career development. For more information, please check BeachBoard for announcements from EOP.
We have an active support group of EOP students who are foster youth and/or warden of the court. If you would like to get involved or get more information please contact our Foster Youth coordinator John Hamilton at john.hamilton@csulb.edu.
