CSULB Student Satisfaction 2009: Talent Development

Colleges and universities need to understand how students change cognitively and affectively from the college experience. In the CSULB Student Satisfaction Survey of 2009, students were asked to rate themselves in each of the following skills before and after attending CSULB. Paired samples t-tests revealed that in nearly all cases, students perceived significant growth in key skill areas. Responses were coded on a scale of 1-5, with 1=low and 5=high self-ratings.
