The Senate is the legislative arm of the Student Government. It also serves as the Board of Directors of the corporation. The Senate is composed of 21 voting members, two elected from each of the seven Colleges, six elected at-large, and the Vice President who serves as Chair.
During the academic year, the Senate meets weekly to hear students' concerns, discuss campus issues, and attend to the business of the Associated Students, Incorporated. Meetings are held on Wednesdays at 3:30 in the Senate Chamber, USU-217. All students are welcomed and encouraged to present their views during the "Student Opinion Period" held towards the end of each meeting.
If you would like to contact a senator, please call (562) 985-5241 to leave a message.
