As a parent/family of a freshman, you and your student are now a part of the CSULB family. You play critical roles in your freshman's ability to succeed in higher education, especially in their freshman year at CSULB.
Each summer the Divisions of Academic Affairs and Student Services offer Parent and Family Orientation (PFO), a day-long opportunity for the parents and families of incoming freshmen to learn about the academic requirements needed to obtain a baccalaureate degree and an introduction to campus services for students.
Along with the end of Summer 2014, parent orientations have now concluded. We encourage parents to remain involved with CSULB in the years ahead through other Parent and Family Programs through the Dean of Students office.
If we saw you during PFO this summer, it was our pleasure to meet you and share information. And with the beginning of this new academic year we wish all our CSULB parents, families, and future CSULB graduates the best. Go Beach!
