Except with field biology protocols, each basic application concerns but one species. The Protocol Modification Form may be used to change the numbers of a species, minor changes to procedures and medications, and any other change which does not substantially alter the nature of the original project. With field biology protocols, species may be added or subtracted from the basic project protocol.
