Budget Road Shows Start Next Week

Three open sessions focusing on the campus’ budget situation will be held beginning next week. The three Budget Road Shows are scheduled for:

  • Monday, February 27, 3 to 4 pm at the Anatol Center
  • Tuesday, February 28, 12 to 1 pm at the Barrett Athletic Center (formerly the Pyramid Annex)
  • Friday, March 2, 9 to 10 am at the Barrett Athletic Center (formerly the Pyramid Annex)

The presentations will cover what is currently known about the Governor’s proposal for next year’s State budget and how it is anticipated to affect us. The State budget process is unpredictable and subject to many changes. This presentation will share with you the best knowledge we have at this point.

If you are unable to attend any of these sessions or if you wish to access these presentations online, the PowerPoint that will be presented will be posted on the campus’ Budget Central website.

Provide Feedback on CLA Dean Candidates by Monday

All of the candidates for the CLA Dean search have visited campus. The Search Committee will be meeting to write a summary report of the candidates on Tuesday, February 28. An essential part of that evaluation will be the individual and group assessments of each candidate.

Please provide your evaluation and observations of the candidates by 5 pm on Monday, February 27. You should send your evaluation through the confidential online form designated for this purpose.
