Within the context of the Spring 2007 gathering of information and resultant assessment report on academic technology at CSULB, we task this sub-group to consider leadership level issues and to help the Division of Academic Affairs prepare to hire a new Associate Vice President for Academic Technology. Observations and recommendations from this sub-group should include the following: help in organizing and defining the AVP job description; mapping out the existing groups and committees across the campus that advise on academic technologies; and identifying key questions to be used during the AVP candidate interviews to elicit productive discussions of appropriate organizational models and divisional goals for academic technology.
