CSULB Faculty Handbook

The CSULB Faculty Handbook offers useful links to campus policies on teaching, evaluation, and support services. Additionally, you’ll find information and links to a wide variety of campus offices from those providing technical support to those providing protective support.

 

Teaching Resources
Faculty Center for Professional Development (FCPD):

You are encouraged to participate in faculty development activities. The FCPD offers workshops, institutes, and individual consultations for all faculty.

The FCPD website lists upcoming events and event notifications are sent out in the Provost’s Wednesday Message.

NEW Faculty Support For Effective Teaching: A wiki with information about making classroom materials accessible, flipping the classroom, documenting and improving your teaching and other topics.
Instructional Technology Support Services (ITSS) ITSS provides instructional support to enhance teaching and learning at CSULB, including BeachBoard Services, Classroom Support Services and Faculty Technology Support for teaching and learning.
University Library Connect with your department librarian to discuss collections, services, and instruction, request items to be put on reserve for your class, learn how copyright affects your teaching materials and more.
