Post-Baccalaureate Credit for Credential Candidates

This policy was recommended by the Academic Senate on May 11, 1995
and received concurrence from the President on June 15, 1995.



Credential candidates may petition to have up to twelve units of professional preparation course work taken in the senior year applied to post-baccalaureate credit if a) they have been admitted to a single subject or multiple subject credential program or b) they meet the minimum GPA in the appropriate major for admission to a single subject or multiple subject program. Post-baccalaureate credit earned toward a single subject credential or multiple subject credential is not guaranteed to apply to any master's degree study a student may seek to do.
