Policy Statement 85-18

This policy was recommended by the Academic Senate in its meeting
of October 16, 1985 and received the concurrence of the President
on December 3, 1985.
Subject: MASTER'S DEGREE COURSE LEVELS It shall be the
policy of California State University, Long Beach, that sixty percent
(60%) of the minimum units required for any Master's degree be at
the 500- and/or 600-level.
The implementation date of this policy shall be the publication
date of the next University catalog, i.e., Fall 1987.
EFFECTIVE: Fall 1987.
