General FAQs

Does CSS provide equipment for students and student organizations?
All equipment must be reserved and signed for by a CSULB instructor or staff member.

Does CSS have computers for check out to instructor or staff?
We are not able to provide computers. The college or department computer technician may be able to provide support.

Does CSS deliver equipment?
Customers must pick up and return the equipment.

Does CSS charge for equipment?
There is no charge if equipment is for classroom instruction.
Charges for off site use at conferences will be determined according to the number of days and type of equipment used.

What do I do if I need a piece of equipment in a classroom for the entire semester?
Call the main number (562) 985-4962 and request the equipment. If we have the equipment and are able to secure it, we will put it in the room.

How do I know what equipment is in the classroom I am assigned?
