Frequency

It is recommended that you DO NOT change the i>clicker frequency from the default AA frequency. However, if you and a neighboring classroom are both using clickers, you may need to alter your frequency to avoid interference.

To change the frequency of your i>clicker base

  1. Open the i>clicker application.
  2. Choose the class that you want to open and click Choose.
  3. Click on Your settings and preferences.
  4. Under Frequency Code choose any combination of A,B, C, D by clicking on their bubble.
    • The default is AA
  5. When frequency code is changed, show an alert message: will determine how long an alert will remain on screen informing student to change their clicker frequency.
  6. Click on Set For Course or Set For This Session on the bottom.

To change the frequency of an i>clicker remote

1.    Press and hold the On/Off button on the remote for 3 seconds
a.    The power light on the remote will start blinker
2.    Press the buttons on the clicker that corresponds with the frequency
3.    When the remote turns off, the frequency will reset to AA

Note:  The clicker (for both the instructor’s and student’s remotes) goes back to the default frequency after turning them off.
