Clickers are wireless handheld devices that allow students to respond to classroom polls, quizzes, and sign-in for attendance, regardless of class size and common student dynamics. These simple remotes transmit individual student responses to an instructor's laptop to record and to share class feedback back to the students. A non-binding resolution via the Academic Senate and supported by Associated Students Inc. (ASI) encourages CSULB instructors to utilize i>clicker.

Our office is located in AS 120 and we are open for drop-in or appointments from 8am - 8pm Monday thru Thursday, and 8am - 5pm on Friday during Spring and Fall semesters, and 8am - 5pm Monday thru Friday during Winter and Summer sessions. Feel free to email us at ITSS as well.
The new (white) iClicker bases require their firmware to be updated. To download the firmware updater for PCs, visit the iClicker downloads website and select the Windows download under NEW: i>clicker Base Firmware Updater. You can also download version 6.2 from that page as well. Unfortunately, currently the update must be done through a PC. Mac users can visit AS 120 (8am-8pm M-Th, 8am-5pm F) with your base (the iClicker software is not needed) and we can help you update. Update: August 2012.
