Copy and Move a Recording to Additional Course Sections

Copy a Recording

  1. Go to http://beachboard.csulb.edu and log in with your Campus ID and password.
  2. Click the course that is setup with Panopto.
  3. Click "Lecture Videos”. A new window will be automatically open and you will be redirected to the Panopto page.

  4. Within the interface, find the session that you wish to move. Click the Settings link for the session you wish to copy.

  5. On the Settings page, select the tab labeled “Manage”.

  6. Once on Manage tab, type in a new session name in the Copy Session section.
  7. Click on the “Copy” button.

Panopto will be begin to create a copy of the recording. You can now move the copy over to another course folder.

Move a Recording to another course section

  1. Go to http://beachboard.csulb.edu and log in with your Campus ID and password.
  2. Click the course that is setup with Panopto.
  3. Click "Lecture Videos”. A new window will be automatically open and you will be redirected to the Panopto page.

  4. Within the interface, find the session that you wish to move. Click the Settings link for the session.

  5. Within the Overview tab, click Edit next to Folder:

  6. Click the drop down menu to display all folders then click the desired folder. Click Save or Cancel to discard changes.

After saving the changes, the session will automatically be moved to the specified folder.
