BeachBoard is the university learning management system powered by Desire2Learn.

Each semester a course is created in BeachBoard for every course in the schedule of classes, and the instructor of the course has the option to activate the BeachBoard course for their students.

BeachBoard courses have remained available to the instructor for five semesters, and then they are archived.

If an instructor would like to view an older course, they can request access via an online form. Click this link for the archived course request form.

Instructors are encouraged to export their gradebook and courses for personal record retention purposes.

The students will no longer be able to view their BeachBoard courses approximately four weeks after final grades have been posted by the instructor to MyCSULB.

If a student would like to view an older course, they must request access from the instructor of the course.
- BeachBoard is currently on version 9.4.
