The license allows installation on all university-owned computers including student computer labs. The software and accompanying license code MUST NOT be installed on personally owned computers. Only authorized campus technologists are authorized to download and install the product. |

Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) consists of several functions that form a multi-layered defense.
• Antivirus and Antispyware
• Firewall
• Intrusion Prevention
• Application and Device Control
• Host Integrity
SEP should be installed as a managed client for workstations and servers on the campus network. For workstations that lack a connection to the campus network it should be installed as an unmanaged client .
The SEP client must be installed by a user with full administrative privileges in order function correctly.
