California State University, Long Beach has a limited number of concurrent licenses to be used for university-related business. It is an annual subscription coordinated by Academic Technology Services. The subscription term is from November 2010 through October 2011. |

This software may be used only on university-owned computers. Faculty interested in obtaining a license must contact their college lead technologist to get a license. Only authorized campus technologists can download the product from the CSULB Software Depot. Your college campus technologist must contact Academic Technology Services at ats-depot@csulb.edu to inquire about availability prior to installation. Software installation always requires administrative privileges of which you may not have on your university owned computer. |

NVivo 9 provides qualitative analytic tools. The software can be used to organize unstructured documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, audio, video and pictures. Output can be visualized using word trees, tree maps, connection maps and cluster analysis. NVivo also can interchange data using Microsoft Word, Excel, SPSS and EndNote.
NVivo is Windows-based only. Contact your campus technologist to determine if your workstation has the minimum requirements for installation.
