Honey Whiskey Trio wins Harmony Sweepstakes

Honey Whiskey Trio, with alumni Courtney Gasque, Ann Louise Thaiss, and Christina Wilson, won the LA Region’s Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival, the premier American showcase for vocal harmony music. The Harmony Sweepstakes is an annual national competition drawing from hundreds of vocal groups from around the country; regionals are held in eight cities. Honey Whiskey Trio will be flown to perform in front of celebrity judges and a sold out house of enthusiastic a cappella fans at the National Finals on May 18th at the Marin Center in San Rafael, California.

Taking second place and Best Original Song (From Two Sides) was ARF, also featuring CSULB alumni. Members of ARF include Genevieve Artadi, Andrea Calderwood, Alexandra Domingo, Sean Fitzpatrick. Genevieve wrote From Two Sides.
