Pacific Southwest Chapter of the American Musicology Association

The Graduate Musicology Association, led by musicology student Erin Miller, along with Alicia Doyle, president of the Pacific Southwest Chapter of the American Musicology Association, hosted the chapter’s winter meeting on Saturday Feb. 23.  Alicia Doyle, Kristine Forney, and Roger Hickman were the local arrangement coordinators. Adam Gilbert, director of the early music program at USC was the invited performance practice lecturer.  The meeting was well attended and included scholarship on diverse topics presented by experts in the field.  This event brought considerable prestige to the musicology program at CSULB.
