Nathan Stark at Virginia Opera
Alumnus Nathan Stark open this week as Nourabad in Georges Bizet’s The Pearl Fishers. The Virginia Opera’s Facebook page has an interview with Nate here. It mentions that, “singing the role of Filippo II in Don Carlo has been my favorite role to date.” When asked about his favorite venue, he responded, “In my shower at home. It’s a safe environment, clean, nobody cares if you crack a high note, and nobody judges you for singing terrible operatic renditions of Justin Bieber songs. LOL. But seriously, the Metropolitan Opera in New York City is such a magical venue, so much history there and a great company to work for.”
