Student Information
The Department's programs offer a course of study for students wishing to prepare for professional careers or related disciplines in physical education-teaching (Adapted, Elementary, and Secondary), athletic training, fitness-wellness, exercise science and kinesiotherapy. The programs have been developed from physiological, psychological, biomechanical, and sociological principles.
Students may contact the Department Office for information and referral to the appropriate Faculty Advisor, Undergraduate Coordinator, Graduate Coordinator, or Credential Coordinator.
Undergraduate Program Information
To meet the educational needs of the undergraduate student, two degrees, a minor, a credential, and a special program are offered:
- Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology
- Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology
- Adapted Physical Education Specialist Credential (code 490)
- Minor in Physical Education Teaching (code 0-1201)
