It is a well established fact that college internships offer students an opportunity to explore career choices, to enchance their classroom education with "real world" experience, and to facilitiate networking with entertainment and film industry professionals. Internships are also a great way to meet interns from other schools.
The Department of Film and Electronic Arts has a long tradition of student internship activity. Dr. Micheal Pounds serves as our faculty Internship Coordinator. He can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In pursuing industry internships, many of our students have taken advantage of the Media Internship program offered by the California State University system. Hundreds of internships have been established by the university, including production, technology, writing, distribution, on-air, 3-D animation, visual effects, video games, and news.
