Personalize MyCSULB

You can make changes to your MyCSULB home page by following these steps:

1. After you have signed on, click on the Personalize Content link in the upper right hand corner.

   

2. Select the content you would like to add or remove by clicking on the check boxes next to the listings and click on the "Save" button. Some content cannot be removed.

   

3. You will then be taken back to your MyCSULB home page with the updated content.

You can make changes to your page layout as follows:

1. After you have signed on, click on the Personalize Layout link in the upper right hand corner.

   

2. Click on the radio button for 2 or 3 columns.

3. Highlight the item you want to move, and click on one of the arrows to move the selection up, down, left, or right.

   Some items are fixed and cannot be moved.

   

4. After you have things where you want them, click on the "Save" button.

5. You will be taken back to your MyCSULB home page with the content arranged in your new layout.

You can make MyCSULB your home page by following these steps:

If you are using Netscape Navigator or Communicator:

1. Click Edit; then Preferences.
2. Click the radio button for "Navigator starts with Home Page."
3. Enter "http://my.csulb.edu" in the "Location" text box.
4. Click OK.

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer:

1. Click Tools, then click Internet Options.
2. In the Home Page section, enter "http://my.csulb.edu" in the "Address" text box.
3. Click OK.

To test your success, visit another web site and then click the browser's Home button to be sure it takes you back to MyCSULB.
